Dr. V.V.S. Rao
Chairman & Consultant Emeritus

|
Dr. Rao, graduated from National Institute of
Engineering, Mysore of the University
of Mysore in 1958. He received
his, Master's degree in Engineering in 1960 from University
of Roorkee where he also received
gold medal for academic achievements. He conducted research in the field of
soil dynamics initially at Roorkee, under Dr. Jaikrishna and later under Dr.
H. Lorenz at Technical University,
West Berlin. He was on the faculty of Indian Institute
of Technology, Delhi for a tenure
of 4 years where he organised summer schools and conducted various research
programmes. In 1971 he started practising as a Professional Consulting
Engineer. He has been a Consultant for over 15000 projects all over the
country and abroad. He is a member of BIS Committees and has drafted a few
standards. In the Nagadi Organisation, he exercises the overall technical
control on recommendations of every project executed from all the branches.
He was the President of the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India)
and also Chairman, Indian Geotechnical Society, Madras Chapter. He has
received awards from various institutions and voluntary organisations in
recognition of his pioneering contributions in the field of engineering
consultancy. He has published several papers and delivered lectures in
workshops and conferences. He had been the chairman of the "Technical
Committee" on Professional Practice "TC 20" constituted by the
"International Society of Soil Mechanics and Foundation
Engineering" between the years 1997 and 2001. Presently, he is the
chairman of the "Technical Committee" on Forensic Geotechnical
Engineering “TC 40” constituted by the "International Society of Soil
Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering" and also chairman of the
"Technical Committee" on Professional Practice constituted by
“Indian Geotechnical Society”.

Lt. Col. (Retd.) R.S. Uppal
Principal Consultant

|
Lt. Col. Uppal did his Master's Degree in
Engineering in 1979 from Pune University.
He was commissioned in the Crops of Engineers in 1963 and has over 20 years
of experience in various technical, administrative and managerial capacities.
He has designed and executed various projects comprising residential,
industrial, reservoirs, pile foundations, machine foundations & marine
structures. After taking voluntary retirement in 1983, he has been very ably
heading Nagadi's branch at Secunderabad and nurtured the growth of the branch
by executing geotechnical investigations for several prestigious projects.

M. Priyakumar
Executive Consultant
|
|
|
Priyakumar, graduated from the Mysore
University in 1971 and received
his M.Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay,
specializing in the field of Soil Engineering. After a brief career with M/s.
Tarapore Co., where he was involved in geotechnical work of Cochin Shipyard,
he joined Nagadi's Bangalore
branch at its inception stage in 1976. He has been in charge of Nagadi's Bangalore
branch since then and has guided the branch in executing the geotechnical
investigations for a large number of residential and commercial projects.

M.L. Shankar
Executive Consultant
|
|
|
M.L. Shankar, graduated from Mysore
University in 1980 and since then has
been working in Nagadi's Branch at Chennai. Putting his vast experience of
over 25 years to use, he has been ably heading Nagadi's Chennai branch and
been responsible for the execution of geotechnical investigations for several
highway projects.

Dr. N. Santosh Rao
Consultant
|
|
|
Dr. N. Santosh Rao, graduated from the University
of Madras in 1993 and was ranked
third. He completed his M.Tech in the field of Soil Mechanics and Foundation
Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras
in 1995. He did his Ph.D. in the field of Soil Mechanics from Indian
Institute of Technology Delhi in
2001. He provides technical inputs for important projects and is stationed at
our Delhi Branch.

Pankaj Saxena
Principal Engineer

|
|
Pankaj Saxena received his B.E. degree with
honours from Vishveshwaraya REC Nagpur
in 1990 and has done his Masters degree in Soil Dynamics from University
of Roorkee in 1983. He has 7 years
prior experience in the field.
Pankaj joined Nagadi in the year 2000 and had been looking after the
affairs of the Nagadi’s Delhi
branch. Presently, he is attached to Nagadi’s Secunderabad branch.

Y.S. Rana
Senior Engineer

|
Yashpal Singh Rana received his Diploma in Civil
Engineering from the Govt. Polytechnic – Nainital in 1971. Yashpal has been asscociated with
Nagadi’s Delhi branch since the
year 1978. Using his vast experience of nearly 30 years, he now oversees the
general operations of the Delhi
branch.

|
M.S. Muralidhar received his B.E.degree from University
of Mysore in 1992. He is attached
to Nagadi's Bangalore branch. He
assists M. Priyakumar in the
general operations of the Bangalore
branch.

H.S. Ravishankar
Engineer
|
|
|
H.S. Ravishankar received his B.E. degree from
University of Bangalore
in 1996. He is attached to Nagadi’s Channai branch. He assists M.L. Shankar in the general
operations of the Chennai branch.
